The 5 Steps to Mastering The Sedona Method: THE most powerful method for releasing a lifetime of limiting beliefs.
In 1952, at the age of just 42, a Physicist named Lester Levison had just been sent home to die by his doctors after being diagnosed with his second coronary and a myriad of other health conditions.
But Lester was a scientist who loved to experiment and over the coming weeks he discovered a tool that proved a profound link between suppressed emotions and disease. He had cured himself within months and The Sedona Method was born.
Here are 5 steps to using The Sedona Method and how it can benefit every area of your life:
Step 1: Identify the Emotion.
Take a moment to notice what you’re feeling.
Name the emotion (e.g., anger, sadness, anxiety, frustration).
Allow yourself to fully experience it without judgment.
Step 2: Welcome the Emotion
Instead of resisting, embrace the feeling.
Let it be there without pushing it away.
Understand that emotions are just energy passing through.
Step 3: Ask Yourself One of These Questions
Could I let this go? (Is it possible?)
Would I let this go? (Am I willing?)
When? (Now?)
Step 4: Allow the Release
If the answer to the above questions is “Yes,” simply **let go** of the emotion.
Imagine it dissolving, like mist in the sun.
If the answer is “No,” that’s okay—just observe the feeling and try again.
Step 5: Repeat if Needed
Continue the process with any remaining emotions.
Releasing happens in layers; sometimes, deeper emotions surface as others are let go.
Keep practising until you feel lighter and more at peace.
